Truth Project Tours 1-3
October 12, 2011
We began our tour of The Truth Project three weeks ago and what an exciting three weeks it has been!
We've had a wonderful turnout and everyone is enjoying themselves and learning much about Truth and a Biblical worldview.
Lesson One took us on a tour of Truth. What is Truth? What is the world's definition? What is God's?
We were introduced to the Cosmic Battle and learned that there is a continual battle between truth and a lie.
Lesson Two took a look at Philosophy and Ethics. R.C.Sproul suggested that morals are what is and ethics are what ought to be. We also learned that at one time science and philosophy were interchangeable but somewhere down the line science became a look at the particulars and philosophy discusses the bigger questions, or universals.
Lesson Three tried to define evil. It also caused us to look at "Who Is Man"; the world's explanations of who man is and God's explanation of man as revealed in His Word.
We are looking forward to the remaining lessons, or tours and are excited to "Gaze Upon the Face of God".
